For our fast-growing Engineering practice in Central Europe, as well as in context of a large transformation program in the financial sector focusing on Customer Experience, we are looking for a detail-oriented QA Lead to develop effective test strategy and overlook its execution. You will work closely with functional and technical delivery pods/teams, Client’s QA team and key business users to assure all quality gateways are met following program timeline.

 

  • At least 5 years of practical experience in software testing, including 2+ years in a leadership role, ideally in transformation and/or integration projects
  • Exceptional stakeholder management with can-do attitude
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in an international team
  • Analytical mindset and problem-solving approach
  • Experience in various types of tests (functional, integration, regression, performance, user acceptance)
  • Proficiency in manual and automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, JMeter, Postman)
  • Hands-on experience with test automation as part of CI/CD process
  • Familiarity with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr, ideally ALM)
  • Experience working in Waterfall test cycles as well Agile/Scrum environments
  • Understanding of AWS Services (e.g., Lambda, CloudWatch, API Gateway) will be a great asset
  • Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g. NodeJS) is a plus


 

Nice to have:

  • Knowledge of Call Center testing tools (in particular with Cyara)
  • STQB certifications (e.g., ISTQB Advanced Level – Test Manager)
  • Familiarity with JavaScript testing libraries (e.g., Mocha, Jest).
  • Experience with load testing tools (JMeter, Gatling).
  • AWS certifications related to cloud infrastructure or DevOps.

Your future role

  • Playing a role of test lead for transformation projects, organizing work and connecting the dots to make sure tests are planned and executed on time on all parties sides
  • Ensure compliance with functional and non-functional requirements
  • Develop and execute test strategy for complex cloud migration project
  • Prepare Test Plans and execution strategy in line with project timeline
  • Contribute to testing methodology, with focus on testing of AWS services
  • Train and manage QA team – plan, organize, and oversee their work
  • Collaborate with Delivery Pods to optimize SDLC process for quality (e.g. TDD)
  • Overlook test data management capability
  • Design, create, and automate tests (functional, performance, integration)
  • Provide weekly reports and promptly rise impediments related to test activities
  • Managed dependencies with other projects/test streams and rise risks/issue at the program level
