Description & Requirements

Who we are looking for

Experience Level: Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience in Linux administration.
Linux Expertise: Strong knowledge of Linux OS internals, file systems, and networking (e.g., Red Hat, Centos, Ubuntu ).
Automation Skills: Proven experience with scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python) and configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
Cloud Environments: Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP for infrastructure hosting and automation is a plus.
CI/CD & DevOps: Experience with continuous integration tools (e.g., Azure Dev-Ops, GitLab CI) and container technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a strong advantage.
Security Awareness: Understanding of best practices around access control, encryption, patching, and system hardening.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills for resolving technical issues efficiently under time constraints.
Communication: Fluent in English (written and verbal); able to collaborate effectively with global teams.

Nice to have:

Certifications: RHCSA, RHCE or other relevant Linux/Cloud certifications.
Database Knowledge: Familiarity with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or other relational databases.
Monitoring Tooling: Experience with monitoring tools.

Your future role

Linux Administration: Manage, maintain, and optimize Linux-based servers and infrastructure components. Proffered RedHat, Ubuntu.
Automation & Scripting: Develop and maintain scripts and automation workflows (e.g., Bash, Python, Ansible) to streamline system configurations, deployments, and routine tasks.
System Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Proactively monitor system health using enterprise monitoring tools. Diagnose and resolve incidents and performance bottlenecks.
VMware Management: Oversee virtualization infrastructure (VMware setup, provisioning, migrations, and updates) to ensure high availability and efficient resource utilization.
Cloud Hyperscalers: Deploy and maintain systems on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), integrating automation best practices for scalable, secure, and cost-effective solutions.
Security & Compliance: Implement security best practices, vulnerability management, and compliance policies (e.g., ISO, SOC, etc.).
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams (DevOps, Networking, Development) to align system improvements with business needs.
Documentation: Create and update technical documentation, runbooks, and knowledge-base articles.
Support: Supervise and assist vendors in implementation and technical support tasks.
Monitoring and Troubleshoot: Monitor and troubleshoot Deloitte Central Europe infrastructure.
