Description & Requirements

Who we are looking for
We are looking for a motivated and experienced individual with a deep understanding of design systems and atomic design principles, alongside a strong background in UX patterns and component-based libraries.
You should be passionate about enhancing user experience and adept at stakeholder management, advocating for a user-centric mindset and human-centered design thinking across the organization.
Your ability to communicate effectively and build alignment with stakeholders will be crucial, as will be your skill in conducting usability testing and user research to inform design decisions.

Your role will be instrumental in delighting our people with innovative design solutions and ensuring high-quality user experiences throughout the organization.
Your future role
  • Collaborate closely with Service Designers and Product Managers to deeply understand the needs and frustrations of our employees, focusing on improving ‘as is’ processes or user experiences within existing technologies.
  • Define early-stage design solutions using user flows, mock-ups, and prototypes to communicate envisioned ‘to be’ ideas effectively to end users and internal teams.
  • Conduct first-hand usability testing and user research to evaluate ideas, gather insights into user behavior, and make informed decisions about iterating or shelving concepts.
  • Apply your expertise in design systems and atomic design principles to create detailed UX and interactive UI designs that exceed Deloitte’s quality expectations.
  • Monitor key performance indicators to assess the impact and success of design initiatives while interpreting product analytics to refine strategies.
  • Conduct independent audits using the Neilson Framework for products developed outside of your immediate team.
  • Respectfully challenge your team while keeping user interests at the core of problem-solving.
  • Manage stakeholders by advocating for user experience, fostering a user-centric approach across projects, and securing buy-in on your team's ideas and direction.
  • Support your craft lead by inspiring and educating your peer group to drive continuous improvement within the team.
