Description & Requirements
Who we are looking for
- 5 years of commercial experience as a Project Manager;
- Proven experience leading cross-functional product teams, including Product Managers, Software Engineers, Product Designers, Quality Engineers, and Analysts;
- Strong understanding of Lean and Agile techniques, including Scrum, Kanban, Lean, and DevOps frameworks;
- Comfortable within software engineering environments, with knowledge of various technology stacks (including cloud and microservices);
- Experience in Retail IT Delivery in a lean and agile environment is a distinctive advantage;
- Experience working in an environment with multiple teams, with exposure to agile at scale;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with client stakeholders;
- Proficient in various management tools, such as Jira, Confluence, Miro, and Trello;
- Experience in managing geographically distributed teams.
- Understanding of Continuous Delivery practices;
- Familiarity with integration patterns;
- Understanding of different architectural styles, including Microservices and Event-Driven Architectures;
- Experience with BDD techniques such as Story Mapping;
- Certified Scrum Master or equivalent (PSM 1/PSM 2/CAPM);
Your future role
- Lead and mentor a product team that includes Product Managers, Software Engineers, Product Designers, Quality Engineers, and Analysts, promoting agile frameworks and fostering a collaborative team environment;
- Facilitate communication of key development insights and findings to delivery teams and remove impediments to ensure continuous progress;
- Champion agile practices, such as Three Amigos, Pair Programming, and optimizing for flow / Theory of Constraints;
- Support team learning through retrospectives and activities that drive continuous improvement;
- Work with complex technology stacks, including Cloud, COTS (Commercial Off-the-Shelf) packages, and legacy systems, aiding in decision-making;
- Assist with the implementation of changes and act as a key point of contact for client stakeholders;
- Contribute to the development and optimization of agile processes and delivery practices across teams.
