Description & Requirements

Who we are looking for
We are looking for a proactive and technically sound SAP QM (Quality Management) Consultant to join our international SAP team. The ideal candidate should be able to work independently, support existing business processes, and contribute to ongoing implementation and enhancement projects in the QM module.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, resolve incidents, improve configurations, and provide expert guidance on Quality Management processes.


  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or related field.
  • At least 4 years of experience with SAP QM, including at least one full-cycle implementation project (S/4HANA or ECC).
  • Proficient in SAP QM configuration, quality master data, process mapping, and change management.
  • Strong understanding of QM business processes such as APQP, PPAP, CAPA, ECO, waivers, and deviations.
  • Integration knowledge with related SAP modules (MM, PP, SD, WM, etc.).
  • Experience in project management and cross-functional team collaboration.
  • Good analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in business process improvement and adoption of SAP best practices.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multicultural team.
  • Exposure to IT project management and international projects is an advantage.
  • Fluency in English is a must (B2- C1 level)
  • SAP certification in QM (optional, but beneficial)
Your future role
  • Analyze current business processes and recommend/develop SAP QM solutions to meet business needs.
  • Manage project roles for various phases including fit-gap analysis, realization, testing, go-live, and stabilization.
  • Configure and customize the SAP QM module, including quality planning, inspection methods, notifications, and quality certificates.
  • Support the integration of SAP QM with other modules (PP, MM, SD, WM) and address cross-module issues.
  • Identify process improvements, develop and implement best practice solutions, and align enhancements with global teams.
  • Provide functional and technical support, including issue analysis and troubleshooting of complex scenarios, as well as basic ABAP debugging.
  • Lead or participate in end-to-end implementation projects, including requirements gathering, documentation, and training.
  • Prepare and execute test cases, and support business users during system testing phases.
  • Train users on new functionalities, processes, and enhancements for the SAP QM module.
  • Develop functional specifications for enhancements, reporting, and interface requirements.
  • Manage post-go-live and ongoing support activities, resolving issues and addressing change requests.
