Are you looking to work on international Workday projects, grow your technical expertise, and develop strong consulting skills at the same time? Join our Deloitte Central Europe Workday Functional team and take part in delivering best-in-class solutions for leading organizations across the region and globally.

Technical Skills Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in the following areas: Business Administration, Information Technology, Business Economics or related field.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud-based ERP systems (e.g. Workday) and proficiency with data modeling and reporting tools.
  • Experience in HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems), data analysis, business systems, or a related functional department (e.g., Finance, HR).
  • Good understanding of business process flows, approval matrix setup and connecting data elements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Professional & Consulting Skills

  • Strong customer-oriented mindset with the ability to understand business needs and build trusted relationships with stakeholders.
  • Very good communication and presentation skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to support or lead client meetings, workshops, solution demonstrations, and requirement gathering sessions.
  • Strong consulting mindset with the ability to work independently, manage priorities, and deliver high-quality outcomes.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously in an international and hybrid working environment.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Problem-solving oriented mindset with strong analytical thinking.
  • Team player with strong collaboration and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong ownership and accountability.

Your future role
  • Become part of a high-performing Deloitte Central Europe Workday practice delivering international Workday projects.
  • Participate in global Workday implementation, optimization and operate projects as a Workday Functional Consultant.
  • Act as a point of contact for end-users to resolve system errors, data inconsistencies, and configuration issues
  • Advise clients on functional solutions, best practices, and design approaches.
  • Partner with Senior consultants to gather and document business and technical requirements, map processes, and transform data into required formats.
  • Assist in designing, building, testing and deploying Workday functional solutions.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders regarding project progress, risks, and recommendations.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in an international environment.
  • Support workshops, client presentations, and solution demonstrations.
  • Continuously develop your technical expertise and consulting capabilities within one of the world’s leading professional services organizations.

Selection process
  • Application period: June – August
  • Shortlisting & invitations: 9th – 18th of September
  • Bootcamp (final stage): 24th – 25th of September
  • Final decisions & offers: End of September – early October

Bootcamp – what to expect

The Bootcamp is a 2-day on-site experience in Tirana, where selected candidates participate in practical sessions, workshops, and case studies.

During Bootcamp, you will:

  • Work on real-life business and integration cases
  • Take part in hands-on exercises and problem-solving tasks
  • Collaborate with other candidates in team-based activities
  • Present your ideas and solutions
  • Get exposure to Workday, consulting practices, and Deloitte environment
