Do you want to lead the technical delivery of next-generation AI agent solutions for global organizations?

Join Deloitte’s growing Agentic AI practice and help turn ambitious AI concepts into secure, scalable and production-ready enterprise solutions.

We are looking for an experienced technical leader who combines hands-on engineering judgement with the ability to guide delivery teams and advise senior business and technology stakeholders.

You will be successful in this role if you have:

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or a related technical field.
  • 7+ years of hands-on experience in software engineering, systems integration, data engineering, AI/ML implementation, automation or enterprise technology delivery.
  • Experience leading technical workstreams, solution components or delivery teams in client-facing projects.
  • Strong understanding of generative AI, large language models, agentic AI, AI orchestration, retrieval-augmented generation, vector databases, prompt design, guardrails and evaluation methods.
  • Strong Python skills and practical experience delivering backend and API-based solutions.
  • Experience with REST and/or GraphQL APIs, system integrations, data flows and enterprise application landscapes.
  • Experience with at least one major cloud platform: Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Experience with structured and unstructured data, document ingestion, embedding pipelines, vector stores and modern data platforms.
  • Ability to review and challenge solution architectures, technical designs, integration patterns and non-functional requirements.
  • Understanding of Git, code review, testing, CI/CD, DevOps or MLOps practices and production-readiness considerations.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical scope, implementation plans, estimates, risks and delivery milestones.
  • Clear communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving and coaching skills.
  • Ability to guide teams while remaining close enough to implementation details to ensure technical quality.
  • EU Work Permit

Nice to have:

  • Consulting experience in a Big Four, technology consulting, specialist consulting or enterprise transformation environment.
  • Experience shaping or leading AI, automation, data, integration or enterprise platform solutions from design through implementation.
  • Experience with modern data and integration technologies such as dbt, Apache Airflow, Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue, Apache Spark, Databricks, Kafka, Flink, Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, Azure Synapse or Delta Lake.
  • Exposure to enterprise platforms such as ServiceNow, Salesforce, SAP, procurement systems or workflow engines.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code, especially Terraform.
  • TypeScript development experience for integrations, tooling or frontend/backend components.
Your future role

As an Agentic AI Technical Lead, you will own the technical direction and delivery of AI agent solutions across architecture, implementation, integrations, data, engineering quality and production readiness.

You will act as a trusted technical advisor to clients while leading teams and workstreams through complex delivery challenges.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead technical workstreams and solution components across local and international client engagements.
  • Own implementation approaches for AI workflows, tool calling, routing, orchestration, backend services, APIs, data layers and enterprise integrations.
  • Shape AI agent solution designs together with architects, product owners, technical leads and client stakeholders.
  • Make and document key design decisions across workflows, integrations, orchestration platforms, cloud services, data flows and enterprise connectivity.
  • Oversee the implementation of retrieval-augmented generation, prompt orchestration, guardrails, evaluation, monitoring and logging patterns.
  • Guide teams through architecture, performance, scalability, observability, security, privacy, reliability and production-readiness decisions.
  • Review implementation plans, code quality, documentation, integration design, testing approaches and deployment readiness.
  • Balance business value, technical feasibility, maintainability, scalability, risk and delivery effort.
  • Identify and resolve technical risks, blockers, dependencies and quality issues before they affect delivery outcomes.
  • Coordinate technical dependencies across Deloitte teams, client IT, platform teams and technology partners.
  • Work directly with client stakeholders to understand requirements, validate assumptions and explain solution options clearly.
  • Translate business priorities into technical scope, milestones, delivery plans and implementation risks.
  • Facilitate technical workshops, architecture discussions, demonstrations and solution walkthroughs with business and IT stakeholders.
  • Lead, coach and develop Consultants and Senior Consultants across software engineering, integration, data, AI and platform delivery.
  • Set technical priorities, assign responsibilities, review progress and support the escalation of delivery issues.
  • Develop reusable methods, accelerators, templates, playbooks and knowledge assets for Agentic AI delivery.
  • Contribute to Deloitte’s Agentic AI offering, internal capability building, proposals, demonstrations, estimates and solution narratives.
