Who we are looking for
At Deloitte, we provide audit services using an approach designed to provide the flexibility to serve the unique circumstances and complexities of our clients. As an Audit Consultant/Senior Consultant, you will jump-start your audit career as part of a young and diverse team, work with experts and use your knowledge and analytical mindset to audit client financials, transactions, and internal control processes. As you progress, we train and assign you to different aspects of the engagement.

Requirements:
  • Higher education with degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Business Informatics, Engineering with Strong interest in Audit;
  • Master degree in Accounting or/and Finance or other professional relevant certifications (ACCA, CPA etc.) are preferable;
  • Strong academic background and high average grade in all the subjects, especially in subjects related with Audit profession;
  • Strong team players with good communication skills, as well as a confident and professional demeanor when dealing with colleagues and clients;
  • Ability to learn fast and deliver quality work under pressure, analytical mind with problem solving approach. Therefore applicants must be highly organized, with the ability to review their own work critically;
  • Proficiency in using office applications: (MS Excel, MS);
  • Fluent in English;
Your future role
As an Audit Consultant you will be supporting our Member Firm Client Facing Teams with the execution and delivery of our audit engagements. You will be part of a team working on distinct activities that form part of the end-to-end audit process and will be supported by experienced and highly skilled professionals. 

Other responsibilities will include:
  • Perform selected audit activities as part of the delivery of high-quality audits of financial statements;
  • Develop a variety of business and industry knowledge to perform audit engagements carrying out the 3 key stages: planning, testing and reporting;
  • Pre-process of information (financial data, accounting records and financial statements, etc.) necessary for each audit phase - audit planning, testing procedures and audit finalization;
  • Prepare audit documentation in Deloitte audit software using templates to support the audit teams based out at client locations;
  • Participate in a customized training program as well as coaching by seniors and managers to become more independent and acquire technical know-how;
  • Sharpen your analytical skills as you audit client financials, transactions and internal control processes;
  • Keep up-to-date with industry developments and changes in regulations;
  • Grow into a trusted advisor to both local and international clients;
  • Act as a brand ambassador with peers and colleagues.
