Who we are looking for

You will operate at the intersection of technology, delivery, and sales, helping clients understand how modern platforms, architectures, and technology solutions can accelerate their growth.
This is a hybrid role - part architect, part strategist, part communicator.
 You will work closely with Partners, Directors, Technical Leads and Project Managers to shape proposals, build solution blueprints, and translate complex technology concepts into clear business value.
We are looking for candidates who have:
- 7+ years of experience in digital technology (development, architecture, or delivery).
- Proven experience in pre-sales, bid management, or technical proposal creation.
- Experience working under tight RFP deadlines and managing multiple concurrent proposals.
- Strong understanding of web/mobile architectures, CMS, eCommerce, and integrations.
- Ability to create high-level estimates, timelines, and risk assessments.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills - both technical and business-oriented.
- Strong organizational skills and ownership mindset.
- Fluent English (spoken and written).
Preferred skills:
- Understanding of commercial and financial aspects of delivery: effort modeling, pricing structures (T&M vs fixed-price), margin optimization.
- Background in MarTech or composable platforms (Contentful, Storyblok, Shopify, AEM, Commercetools).
- Experience collaborating with business development and marketing teams on proposal design or storytelling.
- Hands-on experience with AI platforms (OpenAI API, Azure AI) or ML integration.
- Prior consulting or agency experience in a digital transformation context
The ideal candidate combines technical depth with business acumen - capable of translating client requirements into concrete solutions and building competitive proposals.
 This role requires someone who can navigate ambiguity, structure complex technical problems into clear delivery plans, and take full ownership of presales cycles from RFP analysis to final presentation.
Strong candidates lead rather than follow - initiating technical discussions, challenging weak assumptions, and driving proposals forward independently.
Your future role
As a Presales Engineer, you will:
- Own technical presales processes – from RFP analysis to final client presentations, competitive positioning, and bid strategy, leading competitive analysis and positioning against alternative solutions.
- Create architecture outlines, estimates, and delivery plans for web, mobile, and cloud solutions, and translate business requirements into solution documentation (approach, scope, cost, risks, roadmap).
- Collaborate directly with Partners, Pursuit Leads, and Engagement Managers to define technical win strategies, working closely with Delivery Managers, Architects, and Designers to align technology and delivery with client needs.
- Develop proof-of-concepts (PoCs) or demos to illustrate proposed approaches, and participate in client workshops and pitches, explaining complex concepts in simple terms.
- Contribute to Deloitte Digital's proposal library, templates, and best practices.
- Work with the Talent Group Leader to validate technical feasibility, resource availability, and delivery risk before finalizing proposals, ensuring that proposed solutions align with the practice's delivery capacity and long-term growth strategy.
- Act as technical advisor during early project phases and ensure smooth handover to delivery teams with documented context and expectations.
