We are looking for a SAP Basis Consultant to join our team, responsible for the administration, maintenance, and development of SAP environments in a complex system landscape, including solutions such as SAP S/4HANA, SAP HANA, SAP BW, SAP SCM, as well as JAVA and ABAP systems.

The role involves both technical and operational responsibilities, particularly collaborating with clients, supporting compliance with SLAs, actively monitoring systems, and assisting in critical and escalated situations.

Technical Competencies:
  • 6–10 years of professional experience in SAP Basis.
  • Experience in the administration and architecture of SAP environments, particularly:
  • SAP S/4HANA
  • SAP HANA
  • SAP NetWeaver JAVA
  • Practical knowledge of:
  • Pacemaker
  • SAP Cloud Connector
  • SAP Web Dispatcher
  • SAP Fiori
  • SAP BW
  • SAP SCM
  • Experience with both ABAP and JAVA systems.
  • Familiarity with solutions such as BOBJ BI, BODS, and Lumira.
  • Experience administering SAP Convergent Charging.
  • Expertise in system copy and post-migration activities.
  • Experience implementing SSL in SAP environments.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-analysis skills.

Operational and Soft Skills:
  • Experience working in support/AMS environments.
  • Knowledge of SLA-driven service models.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Ability to work in dynamic environments and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong client focus and commitment to providing high-quality services.
  • Decision-making skills and capability to act during critical situations.
  • Ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.
  • Proficiency in English.

Technical Tasks:

  • Administration and maintenance of SAP Basis environments (ABAP and JAVA systems).
  • Providing stability, availability, and performance of SAP systems.
  • Monitoring systems, processes, and services to maintain operational continuity.
  • Configuring and administering components such as:
  • SAP Web Dispatcher
  • SAP Cloud Connector
  • SAP Fiori
  • SAP Convergent Charging
  • Managing SAP HANA and S/4HANA environments.
  • Performing system copies and post-migration activities.
  • Implementing and maintaining SSL configurations for Web Dispatcher, BO, ABAP, and JAVA systems.
  • Troubleshooting technical issues and analyzing the root causes of incidents.

Operational Tasks and Client Collaboration:

  • Delivering high-quality administrative services to clients.
  • Actively monitoring production environments and responding to incidents.
  • Ensuring the execution of services in line with established SLAs.
  • Preparing SLA reports, including compliance analysis and identification of breaches.
  • Supporting escalation processes and ensuring prompt resolution of issues.
  • Participating in planning and executing maintenance windows and system changes.
  • Supporting capacity management in SAP environments.
  • Collaborating with delivery and project teams to identify operational improvements.
  • Maintaining high service quality and client satisfaction.
