Who we are looking for
Our Cyber Strategy Team is growing its AI Governance, Risk and Compliance practice as the EU AI Act's high-risk obligations come into force and clients across Europe build out AI governance programs.

We're looking for someone curious about AI risk and compliance who wants to build real expertise in one of the fastest-growing areas of cybersecurity consulting.

You don't need to tick every box below. If you have solid AI/ML fundamentals and the right mindset — structured, curious, comfortable with ambiguity — we'll help you build the rest. Most of our current team learned the regulatory and framework side on the job.

This is a hands-on delivery role with real ownership from day one, growing into leading assessments and shaping client deliverables as you build experience with us.


Must-have — the real gatekeepers:

  • 2+ years of hands-on exposure to AI/ML, in any capacity — technical, product, risk, compliance, or governance. You don't need to have built models yourself; understanding how AI systems work and get deployed is what counts.
  • A genuine interest in AI regulation, risk, and governance, even without direct prior experience in the field.
  • Comfortable structuring ambiguous problems and managing your own workload with some guidance.
  • Working English, confident enough to communicate with colleagues and clients at different levels.
  • Degree in Business, Informatics, IT, Law, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • EU residency.
We'll help you build these — no prior experience required:

  • Knowledge of the EU AI Act, ISO/IEC 42001, NIST AI RMF, ISO 27001, or COBIT.
  • Certifications such as IAPP AIGP, CISA, CISM, CRISC, or CIPP/E — we fund and support the path to these.
  • Formal consulting or project management experience.
  • IT security background.
A bonus, not a requirement:

  • Prior IT/management consulting or enterprise risk experience.
  • Exposure to AI governance/GRC tooling (e.g., OneTrust AI Governance, Credo AI, ServiceNow GRC).
  • German or another European language.
Your future role
  • Support and, over time, lead AI risk and maturity assessments for client AI systems.
  • Help review client AI systems and controls against the EU AI Act, ISO/IEC 42001, and related frameworks — training provided.
  • Contribute to AI governance program design: policies, procedures, RACI models, and training materials for client teams.
  • Manage your own workstreams, timelines, and deliverables with support from senior consultants.
  • Get exposure to regional and European AI projects, working alongside experienced risk, compliance, and security consultants.
What your first few months look like: you'll shadow live client assessments, get structured onboarding into the EU AI Act and our internal methodology, and co-lead your first client workshop within your first quarter — all while starting your certification path.
