Who we are looking for
For our fast growing Cloud Engineering practice in Central Europe we are looking for Data Engineers to join our Team. We are looking for Senior Data Engineers who are passionate about Snowflake and Azure platforms. The candidate will be part of bigger Team, with various experience levels, responsible for delivering new data platform build on top of Snowflake and Azure. The primary goal is to build highly scalable, secure platform which will replace the currently used Data Warehouse and ETL/ELT pipelines. The platform will integrate data from multiple sources including high-volume streaming data sources. The implementation process will include business and functional analysis, platform architecture design, data model design, platform and ELT processes implementation as well as data migration and testing.

Core technologies: Snowflake, Azure, ADF or other ETL/ELT platform.

Key requirements:
  • at least 7 years of exp.in DWH/Big Data platforms desingn and development
  • good knowledge of Snowflake platform from Data Engeneer as well as administrator percpective
  • good knowledge of Snowflake architecture, including RBAC
  • good knowledge of Azure and its key-services (mainly ADLS, ADF, Key Vault, security)
  • strong SQL skills
  • understanding of cost and security aspects of Snowflake and Azure
  • experience in designing DWH/Big Data, ETL/ELT
  • experience in desiging Frameworks (e.g. ETL/ELT, RBAC) is a plus
  • experience in SAP data processing is a plus
  • experience in Python developemdnt and Data Engeineering is a plus
  • experience in streaming data processing in Snowflake is as plus
  • experience in technical leadership is a plus
  • UE Permit
Your future role
Key responsibilities will include:

* architecture design and technical documentation
* ELT processes design
* implementation of core platform functionalities: RBAC, ELT Framework, etc.
* migration strategy preparation
* release management process design
* participation in key decision processes
* direct communication with Customer
