Who we are looking for
🎯 We are looking for ambitious individuals for the role of AWS Platform Architect to join the Cloud & Engineering team at Deloitte, working on innovative projects in the area of public clouds, focusing on deployments, migrations, and the creation of new solutions based on cloud computing.

  • Deep AWS Technical Expertise
  • Networking: In-depth knowledge of AWS networking services (VPC, Subnets, Route Tables, IGW, NAT Gateway, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, VPN, Route 53, Security Groups, NACLs).
  • Expertise in AWS Organizations, IAM (Users, Groups, Roles, Policies), Service Control Policies (SCPs), and multi-account strategies
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC) & Automation: Proficiency in provisioning and managing infrastructure using tools like AWS CloudFormation and/or Terraform
  • Disaster Recovery & Resilience: Strong understanding and practical experience in designing DR strategies, multi-region architectures, data replication, and failover mechanisms across AWS services.
  • Containerization & Orchestration: Expert-level knowledge of container technologies and orchestration platforms, specifically EKS, including its architecture, deployment, networking, and security. Familiarity with ECS and Fargate.
  • Databases: Knowledge of database systems and administration topics (installation, backup, HA, replication)
  • Security: Deep understanding of AWS security best practices and services and how to integrate them into platform designs.
  • Proven ability to design complex, scalable, secure, resilient, and cost-optimized AWS platform solutions
  • AWS Well-Architected Framework: Thorough understanding and ability to apply the principles of the AWS Well-Architected Framework.
  • Understanding of DevOps principles and CI/CD practices as they relate to platform infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and observability solutions within AWS (e.g., CloudWatch, CloudTrail).
  • Willingness to continuously develop skills
  • Proficiency in English language 
Your future role
🟢 Your Role and Responsibilities 🟢
The AWS Platform Architect is the principal technical authority responsible for designing and guiding the evolution of the organization's core AWS infrastructure and platform services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Platform Design Leadership: Spearheads the architectural design and strategic direction for major new AWS platform capabilities and significant changes, ensuring they meet business and technical requirements.
  • Infrastructure Architecture: Designs and defines the architecture for foundational AWS components, including network designs, multi-account strategies, and automated landing zone provisioning.
  • Resilience & Scalability Engineering: Architects robust Disaster Recovery (DR) strategies, defines multi-region deployment models, and ensures the platform is built for high availability, scalability, and fault tolerance.
  • Modern Application Platform Development: Leads the design, selection, and implementation of containerization strategies and orchestrators like Amazon EKS, enabling modern application deployment and management.
  • Technical Governance & Best Practices: Establishes and champions architectural standards, security best practices, cost optimization principles, and operational excellence across all designed AWS platform components.
