Who we are looking for

Are you a seasoned IT Architect with a passion for solving challenging issues, making meaningful impact, and designing large scale transformations for regional and global financial institutions? Do you enjoy engaging in technology discussion and have what it takes to stand your ground and influence senior stakeholders?

If yes, join our Deloitte Digital Banking Solutions team as IT Architect!


Ideal candidate would meet the following requirements:

  • Min. 5 years of professional experience in the field of IT, business/functional analysis & architecture design (preferred experience in consulting companies or financial institutions operating in an international environment);
  • Higher IT / technical education or equivalent (ideally with banking acumen);
  • Experience with at least three of the following business domains: Digital Banking, Retail Banking, Commercial Banking, Treasury, Risk, Loan Origination & Underwriting, Core Banking, Brokerage, Investment Banking, Wealth Management;
  • Experience with at least three of the following technology domains: Omnichannel, Mobile, Payments, CRM, Data Lakehouse , Security Architecture (OWASP, CIAM), Integration Platforms, Marketing Automation, Cloud Iaas/PaaS/SaaS; 
  • Professional experience in Financial Services such as Insurance, Banking, etc.)
  • Knowledge and practical experience in at least one business or application modelling notation & one project management methodology;
  • Ability to define and execute the architecture strategy and to apply architectural patterns in an architecture design;
  • Ability to present, influence, and clearly communicate proposed solution concepts in front of various stakeholders, including C-level executives and non-IT audience;
  • Knowledge of basic cloud architecture aspects & familiarity with SOA paradigm, process management concepts, and integration patterns;
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, especially coaching junior team members, high level of empathy, and assertiveness;
  • Highly independent and proactive, with a 'can-do' attitude and a strong willingness to learn quickly;
  • Fluency in English;

  • Be a foundational part of a Digital Banking Talent Group within the firm responsible for strategic solution and delivery advisory and execution,
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior business and technology stakeholders,
  • Lead clients through technology transformations,
  • Help our clients achieving technological fit for their businesses,
  • Take part in digital transformations taking place all over Europe, EMEA and beyond,
  • Participate in developing Deloitte’s Center of Excellence for Banking Transformation.
