Description & Requirements

Who we are looking for

  • 2-3+ years of experience in test automation with a focus on mobile applications (Android, iOS), working with developers, UX designers, and business analysts throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Practical knowledge in programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, TypeScript.
  • Experience with mobile development tools: Xcode (iOS) and Android Studio (Android).
  • Hands-on experience using Appium and/or WebdriverIO for mobile test automation.
  • Experience with device farms for Android and iOS (e.g. BrowserStack, or Sauce Labs)
  • Experience with HTTP/HTTPS traffic analysis and debugging.
  • Hands-on experience working with API Testing tools (e.g. SoapUI, Karate, Postman, and / or Rest Assured).
  • Experience with a version control system (Git).
  • Experience with lifecycle management application tools such as JIRA, HP ALM or Azure DevOps.
  • Experience in defining CI / CD pipelines using industry standard software.
  • Knowledge of ISTQB and testing methodologies.
  • Excellent team player able to work independently.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Fluent English, both spoken and written.

Nice to have:

  • Experience in mobile accessibility testing.
  • Experience in mobile performance testing.
  • Hands-on experience using one of the test frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium.
  • Knowledge about GitHub Actions. 
  • Good knowledge of German (B1/B2).
  • ISTQB certification.
