Who we are looking for

🚀 Backend QA Engineer (Test Automation)

Build quality into modern digital products through automation.

Are you passionate about test automation, API testing, and delivering high-quality software?

We're looking for a Backend QA Engineer (Test Automation) to join our Digital Team, where you'll work alongside developers, business analysts, UX designers, and fellow QA engineers to ensure our digital solutions are reliable, scalable, and built to the highest standards.

✅ What we're looking for

2+ years of experience in Backend QA, Test Automation, or Software Testing.
Hands-on experience with backend and API testing, including building automated test suites.
Experience with API testing tools such as Postman, Rest Assured, or similar.
Programming skills in Java or Python, and experience with Playwright or another UI automation framework.
Good understanding of REST APIs, JSON, HTTP, and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Experience creating test cases and working with Jira and Confluence.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
Good written and spoken English.

⭐ Nice to have

ISTQB Foundation certification.
Experience with SQL, Git, Docker, or CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
Experience testing microservices and distributed systems.
Familiarity with Swagger/OpenAPI, performance or security testing, and Agile/Scrum environments.

Your future role

Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for backend services and APIs.
Perform API, functional, regression, and non-functional testing.
Collaborate closely with developers and product teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
Review requirements and acceptance criteria to ensure features are testable.
Identify, analyze, and help resolve software defects.
Support UI test automation using Playwright where needed.
Contribute to improving automation frameworks, QA processes, and testing best practices.
Document testing activities using Jira and Confluence.
