Description & Requirements

Who we are looking for


The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, IT teams, and external partners to identify business needs, analyze requirements and deliver technology and process solutions that support banking operations and strategic initiatives.

🚀Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 3-10 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within the banking or financial services industry.
  • Strong understanding of banking products and processes, including retail banking, lending, payments, or digital banking. Corporate Banking is a plus.
  • Experience with requirements gathering, process mapping and business process modeling.
  • Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Visio, Excel, SQL, or similar business analysis tools.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Availability to attend client on-site meetings, approximately 25% of working time.
  • EU citizenship or valid work permit to work in Romania is required.
Will be an advantage:
  • CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA, or Agile Business Analyst certification.
  • Experience with core banking platforms, payment systems, or digital banking applications.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements such as AML, KYC, Basel, GDPR, PSD2, or other applicable banking regulations.
  • Basic understanding of APIs, system integrations, and data analysis.
  • German - Upper-Intermediate and higher.
Your future role
  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders.
  • Translate business needs into functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Conduct gap analysis and recommend process improvements.
  • Collaborate with business users, developers, testers and project managers throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Create Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS), user stories, process flows, and use cases.
  • Support solution design and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Facilitate workshops, meetings, and requirement review sessions.
  • Perform impact analysis for proposed changes and system enhancements.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test planning, execution and defect management.
  • Ensure compliance with banking regulations, internal policies, and risk management standards.
  • Monitor project progress and communicate status, risks, and issues to stakeholders.
  • Provide post-implementation support and assist with change management activities.
