Popis práce a požiadavky

Who we are looking for
  • Experience in accounting and financial reporting
  • Strong knowledge of Romanian tax compliance (VAT, CIT, SAF-T, withholding tax)
  • Experience with general ledger entries, reconciliations, and trial balance review
  • Knowledge of fixed assets and payroll accounting
  • Familiarity with intercompany billing and reconciliation
  • Experience preparing financial statements and supporting audits (interim, annual, IFRS, AML)
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and Excel
  • Good command of English (written and spoken)
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to ensure compliance with legal and internal procedures
  • Experience supervising outsourced processes (a plus)
Your future role
  • Perform general ledger entries and reconciliations as part of monthly and annual closing activities
  • Manage fixed assets accounting, including additions, disposals, and depreciation
  • Handle payroll accounting, reconciliation, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
  • Perform intercompany accounting tasks, including billing, reconciliations, and preparation of working files for transfer pricing documentation
  • Review and reconcile trial balances, ensuring accuracy and completeness
  • Address ad-hoc finance requests submitted through ServiceNow
  • Ensure tax compliance, with a focus on VAT (including e-Factura uploads in SPV), SAF-T reporting, corporate income tax (CIT), and withholding tax
  • Prepare and submit BNR (National Bank of Romania) and statistical reports
  • Contribute to the preparation of semi-annual and annual financial statements
  • Provide support for various audits (interim, annual, AML, IFRS, internal), including responding to ad-hoc audit requests
  • Ensure all tasks are performed in compliance with legal requirements, internal policies, and procedures
  • May supervise and coordinate one of the finance processes outsourced to the Shared Services Center (SSC)
