Who we are looking for

Deloitte's Debt & Capital Advisory (DCA) team is seeking an intern based in Warsaw to support our growing business in Poland and Central Europe. The successful candidate will join a dynamic, experienced, and dedicated team engaged in debt financing transactions, including acquisition and leveraged financing (LBO), corporate financing, and project finance with banks and private debt funds. DCA is sector-agnostic, with a focus on corporates, private equity, infrastructure, and real estate.

We are looking for individuals who demonstrate the following qualifications and personal attributes:

Graduates or students in their first year of a master's program related to economics or finance.
Availability for a minimum of 35 hours per week.
Previous relevant experience gained during internships or permanent employment in corporate finance, structured finance, transaction services (financial due diligence), valuation & modeling, or controlling.
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Polish and English.
Interest in capital markets, M&A, or debt financing sectors.

Your future role

As an intern in our DCA team, you will be involved in providing high-quality, independent corporate finance advisory across a wide range of complex and strategic financing challenges faced by our clients. Your responsibilities will include:

Conducting market and company research and financial analysis for both deal origination and transaction analysis.
Preparing transaction and marketing documents, including pitch presentations, teasers or information memorandums.
Preparing and/or reviewing comprehensive financial models in connection with the origination of financing structures.
Supporting the transaction team in all aspects of debt raising and corporate finance transactions, including analysis, deal preparation, marketing, and deal negotiation.
