Who we are looking for

🟢As a Senior SAP Finance (FI/CO) Consultant at Deloitte Central Europe, you will leverage your consulting experience to deliver complex end-to-end S/4HANA finance transformations for leading enterprises across Hungary and Central Europe.

✔️You’ll work with a diverse team of experts on full-cycle SAP implementations and rollouts – from initial design through go-live – modernizing clients’ finance operations and processes.

💼What you bring

Must-have

3–5 years of SAP Finance consulting experience (FI/CO) with a relevant university degree, including at least one full life-cycle SAP implementation or rollout from design through go-live.
Expert knowledge of SAP FI/CO modules and core finance processes (general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, financial closing), with hands-on configuration skills (ideally in an S/4HANA environment).
Proactive, solution-oriented consulting mindset with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, able to work effectively in cross-functional, multicultural teams.
Fluency in English (written and spoken) for client-facing work;
You are based in Budapest and are a Hungarian native speaker

Nice to have

SAP S/4HANA project experience or SAP FI/CO certification, demonstrating up-to-date expertise in SAP’s latest finance solutions.
Additional language proficiency (preferably German) enabling you to support international clients across Central Europe.
Exposure to related SAP modules or technical skills (e.g. MM/SD integration, basic ABAP/debugging knowledge) to facilitate end-to-end solution design.

Your future role

Lead full-cycle SAP S/4HANA Finance implementations and rollouts (from blueprint through go-live) for top-tier clients, ensuring on-schedule delivery with high quality and minimal disruption to their business.
Analyze and optimize clients’ financial processes (e.g. G/L, AP, AR, controlling) by leveraging SAP best practices, driving measurable improvements in efficiency, compliance, and reporting accuracy.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g. Controlling, Supply Chain, Technology) to integrate SAP Finance with other modules, ensuring cohesive end-to-end solutions for complex transformation programs.
Advise finance stakeholders on SAP S/4HANA capabilities and best practices, translating complex requirements into practical SAP solutions that enhance financial operations and control.
Oversee key project phases – from leading requirements workshops and solution design through configuration, testing, user training, and go-live – to ensure smooth transitions and strong user adoption of the new system.
