Who we are looking for

Senior DNS Security Engineer (DNSSEC & DoT)

Are you passionate about network security, DNS infrastructure, and emerging protocols?

Join our team to lead a Proof of Concept (POC) initiative focused on implementing and validating DNSSEC and DNS-over-TLS (DoT) within an enterprise-grade environment.

What You Bring

Core Skills

Strong expertise in DNS protocols, including:

DNS fundamentals
DNSSEC (signing, validation, key management)
DNS-over-TLS (DoT)
TSIG authentication
Hands-on experience with Ansible for: DNS server deployment, configuration management and automation, solid understanding of network security principles.
Experience with Cisco Umbrella or similar DNS security solutions
Excellent technical documentation and reporting skills
Ability to translate complex findings into clear, structured outputs
Experience creating data visualizations for technical and non-technical audiences

Nice to Have

Familiarity with DNS inventory systems and object management workflows
Understanding of enterprise infrastructure environments (ideally SAP landscapes)
Exposure to SAP HEC architecture (admin vs customer landscape separation)

Your future role

🔍 Test Planning & Design

Define and document test cases and use scenarios for DNSSEC and DoT integration
Identify edge cases, dependencies, and failure scenarios within existing DNS infrastructure

📊 Metrics & Evaluation Framework

Establish KPIs and measurable benchmarks to evaluate DNS behavior
Design structured approaches for performance, reliability, and security validation

? POC Execution (VLab Environment)

Execute structured testing in a virtual lab environment
Validate DNSSEC signing, DoT encryption, and secure resolution flows
Identify risks, gaps, and integration challenges

📈 Data Analysis & Reporting

Analyze test results and translate findings into clear, actionable insights
Prepare executive-ready reports, visualizations, and comparisons

🎤 Stakeholder Collaboration

Present findings to Solution Architects and technical stakeholders
Support decision-making on production rollout and next steps
